Marshall ACM chosen to be exclusive distributor of award-winning LMS to UK education sector

University of Manchester first Marshall ACM customer to use the new system.

It was announced today that Marshall ACM has been selected to be the exclusive distributor to the UK's education sector of the award-winning Upside LMS from Upside Learning. The first Marshall ACM customer to use the new learning management system is the University of Manchester, enabling 20,000 students to access a range of new interactive courses, including a flagship course on diversity. Among other benefits, the system enables the University to monitor classroom training and design their own courses.

David Marshall, founder of Marshall ACM says, "We can already help our clients install, run and customise open source LMS systems but we needed a first class commercial system for those clients that do not want to compromise on functionality – Upside LMS has won two Brandon Hall awards and all hosting and support is in the UK".

The new LMS has a wide range of features which enables educational organisations to unify and control all types of training in one place, no matter from which vendor. It also manages delivery to different sections of the learner community and uses rapid authoring tools for fast response to e-learning needs.
By using Upside LMS, Marshall ACM will also be able to provide a tailored environment to address the different needs of learners, provide strong management reporting to measure effectiveness and value, provide learning communities for interaction and automate processes to reduce administrative overheads. Customers can choose to remain on Marshall ACM's previous LMS system if they prefer.

Amit Gautam, Director of Technology Solutions at Upside Learning commented, "We selected Marshall ACM because they work with over 60% of UK universities and a wide range of colleges – we are delighted to announce this partnership. We have vast experience in delivering Learning Management Systems that are designed and developed specifically for training companies. We are sure that the Upside LMS will be able to deliver on Marshall ACM's expectations and cater to their growing training management needs".
