Knowledge and Skills Framework - Communication
Public sector e-learning specialists Marshall ACM have just launched the first e-learning programme to support the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF). The first of its kind to cover the core Communication skills competencies of the new framework, the key content includes:

- Barriers to Good Communication and how to overcome them
- Better Verbal Communication and 'body language'
- Better Listening and better Questions

The programme is aimed specifically at busy staff in NHS environments where time and high tech IT equipment may be scarce. The content is simple yet effective for all staff, is hosted off site to reduce IT costs and implementation issues, and meets current legislation for accessibility.
Staff users can:
- Self register
- Access a forgotten password feature
- Undertake multiple courses from a single website
- Use the same username and password as corporate systems
- Save and review progress using bookmarks
- Complete a quiz and print a certificate for a KSF competence portfolio
Adminstrators can:
- Add and manage users and departments
- Bulk import users
- Use a reports wizard to review progress (charts and tables)
- Export reports to Excel or XML
- Access an enhanced help and support service
- Broadcast messages to all users
