  • Describe the context set by employment legislation.
  • Explain how to write job descriptions, person specifications and job adverts.
  • Explain how to set selection criteria.
  • Describe the correct process for shortlisting candidates.
  • Explain how to conduct a professional interview.
  • Describe common pitfalls in the recruitment and selection process.

Learning design: MACM courses are highly interactive, using a variety of question-types to encourage users to apply underlying concepts to their day-to-day working environment. Courses are also graphically-rich, using audio-visual assets as appropriate.

An (optional) end-of-course test assesses users on the level of knowledge they have retained. Pass rates can be set as required.

Course duration: 45 minutes (users can bookmark progress and complete the course in ‘chunks’).

All our courses are highly customisable. Clients can add their own graphics, and adapt text-based resources to cover their own procedures and areas of key interest. Clients can also link to their own internal policies and procedures.
